What is genSOL?
genSOL is Toby's Phase-1 liquid staking token (LST) on Solana. It represents your staked SOL position in a transferable, yield-bearing token.

How It Works
Deposit SOL -- Go to app.toby.so, connect your wallet, open the Stake tab.
Receive genSOL -- Minting is immediate (provided the current tranche has capacity). genSOL appears in your wallet.
Earn yield -- Your underlying SOL earns staking rewards + MEV rewards automatically. No action needed.
Use in DeFi -- Deploy genSOL across supported DeFi platforms for additional yield, or simply hold.
Unstake anytime -- Choose instant or delayed unstaking when you want your SOL back.
Holding genSOL also accrues Pearls, Toby's points program that rewards early participants.

Instant Unstake: One transaction. Review the net SOL amount, approve, and SOL returns to your wallet as soon as it finalizes. No swap steps needed. The Sanctum INF pool handles it behind the scenes.
Delayed Unstake: Start the unbond and claim when the epoch completes. The 0.1% INFinity fee is baked into the quote upfront. Choose this when you want zero price impact and are comfortable waiting through Solana's unbond cycle.
Tranche System
genSOL supply is capped and released in tranches: controlled growth by design.
First tranche: 10,000 genSOL
Cooldown between tranches: After a tranche fills, a short cooldown period allows for snapshot and refill
Multiple tranches planned -- each opens new capacity for stakers
Early tranches = greatest benefits -- early participants accrue the highest rewards and Pearls multipliers
Why tranches? They prevent supply from outrunning liquidity, ensure deep pool ratios, and reward early believers. When a tranche is full, minting pauses until the next one opens.
