How to Earn Pearls on Toby
You don’t need to jump through hoops or fill out forms, just stay active, contribute, and watch your rewards accumulate. But first, let’s clarify.
Pearls were recently introduced to the community as Toby’s way of rewarding participation across the entire ecosystem, whether you’re staking, providing liquidity, or helping the community grow. Every action you take that strengthens the network earns you Pearls.
What Are Pearls?
Pearls are daily rewards that recognize your ongoing contribution to Toby. Whether you’re staking SOL, joining liquidity pools, or referring new users, you’ll earn Pearls every 24 hours as part of the platform’s automated distribution. The more you contribute, the larger your share of that day’s reward pool.
Black Pearls (BP): Rare and Special
Black Pearls mark special achievements: the kind that stand out. They’re not earned through daily activity but through notable milestones like winning community contests, joining exclusive events, or completing unique challenges. BPs are also given to the top stakers during each tranche! Think of them as trophies that celebrate your biggest wins within the Toby ecosystem.
Ways to Earn More Pearls
If you want to boost your collection, here’s how:
Start early: Early participants receive bonus Pearls right from the start.
Stake SOL: The more SOL you stake, the larger your daily reward share.
Provide liquidity: Contribute to Toby’s DeFi pools for extra Pearl rewards.
Refer friends: Invite others to join and stake through your link; you both earn.
Join community events: Campaigns, quests, and challenges often include bonus Pearls.
How Pearls are Earned
On week 0, 100K pearls will be given. Every week after, 10K will be added to the pool. (ex. Week 0 100k, Week 1 110k, Week 2 120k, Week 3 130k)
If the total stake on week 0 is 1K SOL, then each SOL will get 100K/1K = 100 pearls per day per SOL.
In week 5, the total distributed is 150K and the total staked SOL is 5K, and it will be 150K/5K = 30 pearls per day per SOL.
Hence why the earlier you stake the more pearls you get. Now it’s still early.
